Konad Nail Stamping Tutorial

Hi guys! Today I did a nail art design that required the use of nail stamps - if you don’t know what these are, have no fear! I made a video for you, too! :)

Konad Nail Stamps

Konad is usually the first brand people think of when they think of nail stamps. When you do nail art with nail stamps, you use a metal image plate, a scraper, and a stamp.

This is one version of the stamp and scraper. This is the one that I have. There are others (by other brands, too) that come with an image plate holder. I don’t think it’s necessary but it would be nice!

This is an example of some image plates.

There are TONS of designs out there, too many to choose from! I bought 2 big sets when I started so I have a lot of choices. Mine are from two different companies – though I don’t remember which ones. It doesn’t matter where you get them from as long as they have good reviews. Also, some of the “full nail” (ones that are supposed to cover your entire nail) stamps aren’t actually big enough to cover a whole nail from certain companies. Read reviews and you’ll be able to find out which ones. One set of mine has large “full nail” designs, and the other has ones that are a little too small – it’s a small bummer as I still like the designs and still like to use them.

Here’s the design that I did today:

I love it! I stamped a black leopard print design onto gray nails and then added sparkles (because sparkles are the answer to life.)

I even made a video for it!! Check it out:

If you thought this was cool or had other nail stamping ideas or pictures, let me know in the comments! Feel free to share this (please do!) and make sure to follow me on Twitter (@xoHannahMonroe) and Pinterest (Monrogue.) Have an awesome day!!
